The place has a great location right on the beach, and it's just a short walk to town for events, the center, and historical sites.

The shower was hot.
The room was dirty. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. Microwave had food smeared on the touch pad. Powerstrip used for the TV was filthy and looked like it had been used in a garage. Acutally slept in sleeping bags on top of the beds.

The staff and the owner were all helpful. Comfy location - easy walk to everywhere we needed. Easily reached Arby's, located not too far away from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there.
Their staff were unprofessional.

Convenient location right in the heart of things – close to shops, a liquor store, and just a hop away from the beach! 🏖️ Can definitely vouch for it to anyone looking for a good spot to stay.

The place is a dump. I cannot believe that in 2012 America places like this exist. The place should be demolished. It looks like a 1950 Rt 66 motel. Old looking rooms, old beds, dirty carpets, old bathrooms. We took a look at this dump and turned around and left. How is it possible that the hotel association still approves the existance of this antique.

We were just in town for the night and needed a place to stay. The room was large and clean and the front desk people were nice. I had read a bad review about the place and was a little concerned but I am glad I kept my reservations because it turned out fine.

The room was nice, and the bed was super cozy 😊. the staff were friendly and gave me all the info I needed. Plus, the location was great – just a short 10-15 minute walk to a college in town.

Not much!! The Lobby door was locked when I arrived at 7:14 pm. I had to beat on the door for minutes bvefore a man showed up. The drapes on the window were hanging askew/filthy. Ironing board but no iron.packets of condiments for coffee were so old they were dirty an hard as a rock. Plumbing in bathroom was broken and hardly worked. Bugs were crawling in the shower.Entrance door lock was hard to secure, door was loose and I didn't feel very safe. Looked like no one had vacuumed under the bed for a year!!
See above. Seriously, I am not making this up or even stretching the truth. I almost left without staying, but the weather was bad and I had a 2hr+ trip , traveling alone. I,m 71 yrs old. I would never recommend anyone stay there....ever for free! I didn't expect the Waldorf for $64,but this was rediculous!!

The ONLY thing I liked was the front desk clerk - Tiffany. She tried her very best to make our stay comfortable.
1. very "seedy" looking from the outside 2. sheets were not changed prior to our arrival 3. ashes all over the tables - obviously not cleaned 4. carpet not swept - again , room was not cleaned prior to our stay
